Monday, Feb. 25

• Intro to U6P3 words; take pre-test and grade together
• Review Chapter 12- The Watsons are finally in Birmingham! What do you think?
• Read and discuss Chapter 13
• HW: Word Wisdom pgs for Unit 6P3; posttest on Thursday.

Tuesday, Feb. 26 (Mrs. Tolin will be in a DAT meeting during 7th period)

• Discuss Chapter 13-- Wool Pooh; Kenny's near-death experience
• Read and discuss Chapter 14 together--CLIMAX! reappaerance of Wool Pooh, Joey's near-death experience;
• 7th period: Complete "Chapter Reflection" on Chapter 14.
• HW: Finish Chapter 14 and "Reflection" questions if needed. Word Wisdom due Wednesday; study for Thursday's posttest.

Wednesday, Feb 27

• Check answers to U6P3 homework, using student leader
• 6th period: Complete a "CLOZE Notes" assignment to review Chapter 14.
• Read and discuss Chapter 15 (last chapter) together---Watsons return to Flint, Michigan.
• HW: Finish reading Chapter 15, if needed; Study for WW posttest tomorrow.

Thursday, Feb. 28

• Take U6P3 posttest
• With peers, complete nine Chapter 15 Discussion questions
  • Think/Pair/Share
• Read and discuss "Epilogue" together
• HW: Prepare for The Watsons go to Birminghma--1963 Unit test to be next Tuesday, 3/5 or Wednesday, 3/6. Review days beforehand.
